Helping New Americans Build Their Future
The Global Fatherhood Foundation (GFF) is committed to helping New Americans overcome immigration-related barriers so they can work, grow, and succeed in Minnesota’s Long-Term Care (LTC) workforce.
Through this program, eligible participants receive confidential immigration legal services from licensed immigration attorneys, along with personalized support to help them obtain or maintain lawful immigration status and work authorization.
This initiative is supported by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) and is designed specifically for individuals who are currently working in or seeking employment in the Long-Term Care industry.
Who Can Receive Services?
You may qualify if you:
- Are currently employed in the Long-Term Care (LTC) workforce or planning to enter the field.
- Live in Minnesota.
- Need immigration legal assistance related to your work authorization or immigration status.

Meet one-on-one with a licensed immigration attorney to discuss your legal options and receive personalized guidance.
Immigration Legal Assistance
Receive help with eligible immigration matters, including:
- Employment Authorization (EAD)
- Other employment-related immigration benefits
Ongoing Case Management
Our staff will support you throughout the legal process by providing:
- Appointment scheduling
- Follow-up support
- Document collection assistance
- Language interpretation
- Referrals to community resources
- Transportation assistance for eligible participants
