About the Program 

The ACP Transformative Training Program is a DEED-funded initiative aimed at closing workforce and opportunity gaps in Minnesota’s underserved communities. Through targeted skill-building, credential attainment, and career navigation, the program prepares participants for in-demand careers in key growth sectors such as:

  • Healthcare
  • Union and Skilled Trades
  • Manufacturing
  • Entrepreneurship & Small Business Development

The goal is to increase economic stability and reduce disparities for BIPOC individuals, immigrants, refuges, and justice-involved Minnesotans.

Who Should Apply?

  • Minnesota residents (7-County Metro Area)
  • Individuals ages 18+
  • African American, African Immigrant, LGBTQ+, Refugee, or Incarcerated/Returning Citizens
  • Income at or below 200% of the federal poverty guideline
  • Seeking job skills, business development, or career advancement
